Paul was raised in Oakville, Ontario and has resided in Barrie for the last 10 years. An experienced and self motivated full time artist, he graduated from the Ontario College of Art and acquired a BA in Fine Art at the University of Guelph in 1983.
Paul's work can be found in private collections and he has been showing at various galleries for about the past 20 years. Though a lot of his past painterly work has been with landscapes, he has also had success as a published science artist, a graphic designer and his editorial illustrations and caricatures have been published in magazines and journals in both the US and Canada.
The work here at Monsoon is a new adaptation to allow more creativity to come into play in his work. The styling is enchanting at times in certain pieces and very exciting and visually exciting in others. Paul feels the drawing makes the painting and he has strived to bring this out.
